All this love

Big things are happening!!!! Today we launched the website! It’s right here, with my very first blog post.

I am so (overly)excited about all our (@studioellinor – mostly her) work finally coming together. I’m so so grateful for the process of our work and how @studioellinor put up with perfectionist-me to the very finish line…! Thank you.

Today was also our (@oljestudion ) first collab workshop (pics and more info will be up shortly). It was so cozy, inspiring and leaving me with the feeling that “this. This is it. This is what I want to do”. Thank you.

I feel so privileged getting to work with these amazing and creative ladies that I also get to call dear friends. Thank you.

Autumn is here, and with it – the winds of change. Tomorrow will be the end of one job, and the start of another, for me. I’m leaving a secure and steady job for one with more challenges and less stability. A job with a whole lot more fun though. Sounds mad, doesn’t it? Like I’m this kid who doesn’t know better. But I do know this

• Working in a place that consumes your energy without giving half of it back to you will always leave you feeling drained.

• Working in a place where you always long for something else or more – is not the right place to stay put, only to grow regretful.

• Working in a place, only for the money and the security, will always leave you bitter or bored in the end. Unless you don’t care about how it makes you feel, it will leave traces in you as a person. In your everyday life. In your routines and in your daily energy. But most of all, in your relationships. With yourself and others.

• Working for something that makes you feel excited is the best (and only fair) thing you should give yourself, at least the chance, to see – what you’re really made of.

and last but not least…

• We spend all this time working, whether it’s in front of a person, a desk, a screen, a building or a machine… We put in all these hours, all our energy and time. Our lives. How would you like to look back on all that work? And for who did you do it?

Sometimes there isn’t a choice and in those cases we have to fight for/until there is one.

I’m lucky. And spoiled. Spoiled with love, comfort and support. I wouldn’t have been able to make the choices I’ve made without the never-ending, huge support I have around me. I’m very lucky and I hope you are too.

I have all this love. And I’m so very grateful. THANK YOU.
